Our client is a specialist data centre main contractor delivering a full turnkey solution on New Build Data Centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and commissioning works. Group turnover is already in excess of €1.5bn and their order book is full for the next 3-years.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of MEP works on a major data centre development in Sweden.
The Senior MEP Project Manager will take full ownership of the mechanical and electrical scope, managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality and performance standards.
• Lead and manage all MEP activities from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Take full responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety across the MEP scope.
• Coordinate closely with CSA, design, commissioning, and client teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, driving performance and accountability.
• Review and approve MEP design deliverables, technical submissions, and commissioning plans.
• Develop and maintain detailed MEP programmes aligned with overall project milestones.
• Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and change control across the MEP works.
• Lead progress meetings, technical workshops, and client-facing reviews.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of all MEP systems.
• Champion Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with project, statutory, and client requirements.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience delivering MEP works on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven track record on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of complex MEP systems, commissioning methodologies, and integrated delivery.
• Excellent leadership, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in the Nordic region or knowledge of local standards is advantageous.
